The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between December 21-22.
Robbery—A man was injured during an attempted carjacking at knifepoint on Lexington Parkway and University Avenue around 12:57 a.m. Sunday, December 12. The suspect fled the area and the victim drove to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Summit Avenue around 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, December 21.
Burglary—Nothing Bundt Cakes, 1580 Grand Ave., was broken into around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, December 21.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 2100 block of Princeton Avenue on Monday, December 20.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at Wells Pianos, 408 S. Snelling Ave., around 2:45 p.m. Monday, December 20.
Theft—A trailer was reported stolen on the 200 block of Exeter Place between 8:07 a.m.-12:25 p.m. Monday, December 20.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 400 block of North Pierce Street around 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, December 21.
Weapons—Six shots were fired out of a vehicle that was seen driving through the intersection of Beacon and Saint Anthony avenues around 10:29 p.m. Monday, December 20. No injuries were reported.
Assault—An assault was reported at Discount Tire, 1350 University Ave., around 4:18 p.m. Monday, December 20.
—A woman said she was punched in the head multiple times by a suspect on Snelling and Ashland avenues around 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 21. The suspect was described as a black male, 6-foot tall, with dreadlocks and wearing a red hoodie and white jacket. He fled eastbound on Ashland.
Burglary—Trott Law, 25 N. Dale St., was broken into around 5:38 a.m. Monday, December 20.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 900 block of Ashland Avenue on December 20, and the 600 block of Selby Avenue on December 21.
Assault—A felony assault was reported at Saint Paul College, 235 Marshall Ave., around 12:23 a.m. Wednesday, December 15.
Theft—A Honda CRV was reported stolen from Bonfe’s Auto Service & Body Repair, 380 W. Seventh St., between 11:07-11:29 a.m. Monday, December 20.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from two vehicles on the 1000 block of West Seventh Street on Tuesday, December 21.
