The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources between January 11-12.

Highland Park

Burglary—Erik’s Bike Shop, 2191 Ford Pkwy., was burglarized around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on Springfield Street and Stewart Avenue on January 6, and the 1600 block of Niles Avenue on January 10.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 800 block of South Cleveland Avenue on Saturday, January 8.

Assault—A domestic assault with a gun that included the theft of a vehicle was reported on the 1200 block of Randolph Avenue around 11:05 a.m. Monday, January 10.

Miscellaneous—A 39-year-old man was arrested for violating a restraining order after he was found sleeping inside a victim’s apartment on the 800 block of South Cleveland Avenue around 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, January 11.

Lexington-Hamline

Burglary—An occupied apartment was broken into on the 1200 block of Marshall Avenue between 10:29-11:42 p.m. Friday, January 7.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—A hit-and-run accident involving a stolen vehicle was reported on Hamline and Jefferson avenues around 8:10 a.m. Friday, January 7. The suspect got out of the vehicle and left the scene.

—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1400 block of Saint Clair Avenue on January 8-10, and the 2100 block of Grand Avenue on January 11.

Merriam Park

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on Selby Avenue and Fry Street on January 6, the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue and the 200 block of North Prior Avenue on January 7, and the 1900 block of Feronia Avenue on January 11.

Snelling-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue on Saturday, January 1.

—A vehicle was reported stolen at the VCA Feist Animal Hospital, 1430 Marshall Ave., on Monday, January 10.

Summit-University

Burglary—A burglary was reported on the 800 block of Ashland Avenue during the evening of January 7-8.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 900 block of Iglehart Avenue on January 5, the 600 block of Hague Avenue on January 5-6, the 1000 block of Dayton Avenue on January 6-7, and the 300 block of Pleasant Avenue on January 7-10.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 600 block of Laurel Avenue on Saturday, January 8.

Assault—A staff member was reportedly assaulted by a parent at J.J. Hill School, 998 Selby Ave., around 2:35 p.m. Monday, January 10.

Miscellaneous—A woman reported two of her vehicle’s tires were slashed by a suspect who was violating an order for protection around 11:51 a.m. Sunday, January 9, on the 800 block of Dayton Avenue.

West End

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 800 block of West Seventh Street on Saturday, January 8.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 800 block of Tuscarora Avenue on Saturday, January 8.

Weapons—Police received a report of gunfire and a male suspect running from the scene on West Seventh Street and James Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11.

Miscellaneous—A 27-year-old woman was arrested for DWI after she was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on the 1100 block of Montreal Avenue around 6:35 p.m. Monday, January 10.

—A 38-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and an outstanding warrant after he was found sleeping in the hallway of a building on the 600 block of Selby Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11.
