The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between March 29-30.

Highland Park

Burglary—Two suspects reportedly made off with more than $5,000 in regular and electronic cigarettes during a break-in at MSP Tobacco & Vapor in Sibley Plaza around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 29. The suspects entered through an adjacent business and then pried through the sheetrock to gain access to the tobacco store.

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 2000 block of Randolph Avenue on March 28.

Weapons—A reckless use of a firearm was reported on the 1000 block of South Prior Avenue around 7:40 a.m. Monday, March 28.

   

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Selby and Hamline avenues on Monday, March 28.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1100 block of Edgcumbe Road on March 27, and the 2100 block of Palace Avenue on March 28.

—Vehicles reported stolen on the 1300 block of Palace Avenue on March 27-28, and the 1400 block of Osceola Avenue on March 28.

Merriam Park

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 2500 block of Beverly Road and the 1600 block of Carroll Avenue on Monday, March 28.

Assault—A 31-year-old man reportedly rammed a squad car multiple times with the stolen vehicle he was driving when police tried to stop him at the Quality Inn, 1964 University Ave., around 8:54 p.m. Monday, March 28. The suspect then tried to flee the scene, but crashed in the parking lot. He was arrested for assault, possession of stolen property, criminal damage to property and fleeing police.

Summit Hill

Burglary—A break-in was reported at Lloyd’s Automotive, 982 Grand Ave., around 2:32 a.m. Tuesday, March 29.

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1100 block of Fairmount Avenue on March 26, and the 700 block of Grand Avenue on March 29.

Summit-University

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 700 block of Holly Avenue on Tuesday, March 29.

Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the AA Market, 191 N. Western Ave., around 6 a.m. Monday, March 28.

West End

Robbery—A strong-arm robbery was reported on the 400 block of Vance Street around 4:06 p.m. Thursday, March 24.

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen at the Holiday Inn, 175 W. Seventh St., around 8:06 a.m. Monday, March 28.
