The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between May 5-9.
Theft—A theft from auto valued at more than $1,000 was reported at Hidden Falls Park between 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.
—A male and female suspect reportedly tole a victim’s work truck and attached trailer while he was working in a yard on the 1400 block of Pleasant Avenue around 10:07 a.m. Friday, May 6.
—A theft of more than $1,000 was reported at Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 2026 Ford Pkwy., on May 6.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 2000 block of Yorkshire Avenue on May 6-7, the 700 block of Mount Curve Boulevard and the 1800 block of Bohland Avenue on May 8, and the 1200 block of Hartford Avenue on May 8.
Assault—A student reportedly had minor injuries after being assaulted by another student at Holy Spirit School, 515 S. Albert St., around 7:17 a.m. Thursday, May 5.
—A vehicle was reportedly followed and shot at near Cleveland Avenue and Ford Parkway around 8:56 p.m. Friday, May 6.
Weapons—A man was arrested for felony possession of a stolen gun, property and drugs during a police arrest of several people at the Highway Motel, 2152 S. Seventh St., around 10:17 a.m. Monday, April 25. He also was wanted on several outstanding warrants. A woman also was arrested there for felony operation of a stolen vehicle and possession of a stolen gun, and another man for outstanding warrants.
Miscellaneous—Three windows were broken at Edgcumbe Presbyterian Church, 2149 Edgcumbe Road, during the evening of May 6-7.
Theft—A theft from auto valued at more than $1,000 was reported at Skyline Tower, 1247 Saint Anthony Ave., around 3:26-4:04 p.m. Sunday, May 8.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1500 block of Grand Avenue on May 4, the 200 block of Brimhall Street on May 6, the 2000 block of Wellesley Avenue on May 7, and the 2000 block of Summit Avenue on May 8.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1800 block of Randolph Avenue on May 4, the 1400 block of Fairmount Avenue on May 5, and the 2100 block of Goodrich Avenue on May 8.
—Tools were reported stolen from a container that was broken into at a construction site on the 1700 block of Grand Avenue around 8:27 a.m. Thursday, May 5.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1000 block of Highway 13 around 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 2.
—Catalytic converters reported stolen from vehicles on the 2300 block of Nashua Lane and the 1000 block of Northland Drive on May 3, the 1400 block of Northland on May 4, the 1100 block of Juliet Avenue on May 6-8, and the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue on May 7-8.
—Credit cards and cash were reported stolen from an employee break room on the 700 block of Main Street around noon Monday, May 2.
Miscellaneous—An impaired female driver reportedly fled police around 11:52 p.m. Thursday, April 28, on the 1000 block of Mendota Heights Road. Officers pursued her for about a block, when she turned down a dead-end behind a business. An Eagan canine unit and drone were used to search the area, but could not find her. A male passenger in the vehicle was detained. The female suspect was identified and found to have multiple warrants. Officers also recovered drugs, a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and a ledger of drug sales in the vehicle.
—Potatoes were reportedly thrown at a residence, damaging the siding and a vehicle, during the evening of April 28-29 on the 1000 block of Nortland Drive.
Burglary—A business was burglarized and a vehicle was stolen on the 1700 block of Selby Avenue around 8:53 a.m. Friday, May 6.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1800 block of Feronia Avenue on May 4-5.
—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Laurel Avenue and Wilder Street on May 6-7.
—A gun was reported stolen from a hotel room at the Quality Inn, 1964 University Ave., between 4:50 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, May 6.
Assault—A man was reportedly assaulted by three boys and a girl on the 1800 block of University Avenue after leaving the light-rail train platform around 9:19 p.m. Saturday, May 7. The suspects fled before police arrived. The victim was taken to Regions Hospital for evaluation.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 900 block of Fairmount Avenue on May 4-5, and the 200 block of South Dunlap Street on May 8.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 500 block of South Victoria Street on May 5.
—A shoplifting loss of more than $1,000 was reported at Evereve, 867 Grand Ave., between 1:40-2:05 p.m. Saturday, May 7.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 900 block of Selby Avenue on May 4-5.
—An accident with injuries involving a stolen vehicle was reported on Summit Avenue and North Victoria Street around 6:32 p.m. Friday, May 6. A 17-year-old female suspect was evaluated at the hospital and later booked for felony receiving of stolen property, careless driving and driving without a license.
Assault—A female believed she had been shot on the 800 block of Selby Avenue around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, May 7. She was taken to Regions Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Robbery—A strong-arm robbery was reported on the 300 block of Spring Street around 7:33 p.m. Thursday, May 5.
Burglary—A break-in of a unit at Public Storage, 875 Montreal Way, was reported on May 6.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1000 block of Bayard Avenue on May 5.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 400 block of Saint Clair Avenue on May 5-6, and the 1100 block of Elway Street on May 7-8.
—Police received a report of a person stealing copper wire on James and Randolph avenues between 10:52 a.m.-3:05 p.m. Saturday, May 7.
Assault—A woman reported being assaulted by a suspect who took indecent liberties at the Holiday Inn, 175 W. Seventh St., around 12:25 a.m. Sunday, May 8.
—A 36-year-old woman was arrested for felony assault via strangulation and obstructing the legal process around 8:03 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in an apartment on the 500 block of West Seventh Street.
Miscellaneous—A 51-year-old man was arrested for refusing to take a DWI test after being found unconscious in a vehicle on Chestnut and West Seventh streets around 11:56 p.m. Thursday, May 5.
—Officers responded to a report of a man down in an alley on the 900 block of Juno Avenue and arrested a 35-year-old man for drug possession around 9:15 p.m. Friday, May 6.
—A male reportedly threw a rock through a window causing felony damage to My Darling Bridal, 277 W. Seventh St., around 4:20 p.m. Friday, May 6.
—Felony damage to property was reported on the 100 block of Forbes Avenue between 4:20-8:20 a.m. Saturday, May 7.
