The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between May 24-25.
Burglary—Red 6 Games, 1326 Grand Ave., was broken into and cash was reported stolen from the register around 1:16 a.m. Tuesday, May 24.
—A cash register was broken into, but the thief reportedly left empty-handed, during a burglary of Precision Auto Tune, 360 S. Snelling Ave., around 3:44 a.m. Tuesday, May 24.
Theft—A moped was reported stolen on Grand and Snelling avenues around 3:14 p.m. Monday, May 23.
—A purse was stolen from a vehicle on the 1900 block of Wellesley Avenue around 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. The purse was later recovered, but with items missing.
Burglary—T-Mobile, 1360 University Ave., was burglarized around 3:25 a.m. Monday, May 23.
Assault—A 42-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault with a knife at the Midway Cub Foods, 1440 University Ave., around 6:27 p.m. Monday, May 23.
Sex crime—A 45-year-old man was arrested for criminal sexual conduct and threats of violence after he reportedly exposed himself to a woman and her child in the LA Fitness parking lot, 1370 University Ave., around 3:45 p.m. Monday, May 23.
Burglary—A burglary of an occupied residence was reported on the 900 block of Fairmount Avenue at 5:22 a.m. Tuesday, May 24.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1100 block of Saint Clair Avenue on May 19-22, and the 1000 block of Osceola Avenue on May 22.
Theft—A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of North Western Avenue on May 23-24. A credit card in the wallet was used to make several unauthorized purchases.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 100 block of North Kent Street during the evening of May 23-24.
Burglary—A 22-year-old was arrested for burglary of the fire station (former Freedom House) at 296 W. Seventh St. around 4:23 p.m. Monday, May 23.
—A burglary was reported at Saint Paul Automotive, 910 Randolph Ave., at 6:08 a.m. Monday, May 23.
—A burglary of an occupied residence was reported on the 1000 block of Pleasant Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 600 block of Palace Avenue on May 21, and on Otto Avenue and Victoria Street on May 23.
—The key dropbox was broken into and multiple vehicles were reported stolen at Saint Paul Automotive, 910 Randolph Ave., around 6:56 p.m. Monday, May 23.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the Holiday Inn, 175 W. Seventh St., around 6:22 a.m. Tuesday, May 24.
