The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between July 8-11.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 600 block of South Snelling Avenue on July 5-6, the 2100 block of West Seventh Street on July 9, and the 1800 block of Rome Avenue on July 7-10.
—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1300 block of East Maynard Drive on July 6-7, the 1900 block of Ford Parkway on July 8, the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue on July 8-9, and the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue on July 9.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported on the 1200 block of Saint Paul Avenue on July 8-9.
Burglary—A break-in was reported at White Castle, 1120 University Ave., around 9:51 a.m. Thursday, July 7.
Burglary—Electronics, jewelry and cash were among the items reported stolen during a home break-in on the 400 block of Brimhall Street on July 1-10.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue on July 8-9, and the 2200 block of Saint Clair Avenue on July 9.
Burglary—A home was broken into and a vehicle reported stolen on Cretin Avenue near Riverwood Place between July 2-9.
—A residential break-in was reported on the 100 block of Montrose Place on July 2-9.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1900 block of University Avenue on July 8, and the 1600 block of Selby Avenue and the 2100 block of Marshall Avenue on July 8-9.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1700 block of Ashland Avenue and the 1600 block of Saint Anthony Avenue on July 8.
Assault—Five juveniles reportedly attacked a male on Lynnhurst and Felonia avenues around 1 p.m. Sunday, July 10. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Theft—A theft and criminal damage to property were reported at Gangelhoff Center, 235 N. Hamline Ave., around 5:51 a.m. Sunday, July 10.
Burglary—A burglary was reported at Lloyd’s Automotive, 982 Grand Ave., around 2:14 a.m. Saturday, July 9.
Theft—A motorcycle was reported stolen on Milton Street and Grand Avenue during the evening of July 7-8.
—A theft from auto of more than $1,000 was reported on the 900 block of Linwood Avenue between 1:30-5 a.m. Sunday, July 10.
Assault—A 43-year-old woman was arrested for felony assault after reportedly pulling a knife on her boyfriend during an argument around 5:53 p.m. Sunday, July 10, on the 1000 block of Grand Avenue.
Burglary—A home break-in and possible arson were reported on the 200 block of Summit Avenue around 8:16 p.m. Sunday, July 10. The female suspect was taken to the hospital for evaluation before being taken to jail.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 500 block of Portland Avenue on July 3, the 500 block of Holly Avenue on July 6-7, and on Portland Avenue and Dale Street on July 7.
—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 700 block of Hague Avenue on July 8-9, and the 300 block of Concordia Avenue on July 9. Two vehicles were also reported stolen outside the Cathedral of Saint Paul on July 9.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the YWCA of Saint Paul between 10:38 a.m.-2:40 p.m. Thursday, July 7.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of North Smith Avenue on Thursday, July 7.
—A handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 800 block of Watson Avenue at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, July 7.
—A vehicle and attached trailer with landscaping items were reported stolen on the 1900 block of West Seventh Street between 1:30-2 p.m. Friday, July 8.
—A man reported that his watch and wallet were missing after leaving Patrick McGovern’s Pub, 225 W. Seventh St., around 12:31 a.m. Sunday, July 10. A pickpocketing loss of more than $500 was also reported in that area around 1:30 a.m. the previous day.
Assault—A 34-year-old man was arrested for felony assault after reportedly hitting a woman in the face with a lamp on the 100 block of Forbes Avenue around 5:50 a.m. Thursday, July 7.
—A 20-year-old man was charged with assaulting another man on Grand and Smith avenues around 7:06 a.m. Sunday, July 10.
