The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between July 14-18.

Highland Park

Burglary—A motorbike was reported stolen from a parking garage on the 2000 block of Yorkshire Avenue around 5 a.m. Friday, July 15.

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1600 block of Randolph Avenue on July 14, and the 1600 block of Saunders Avenue on July 15.

—A theft from auto of more than $1,000 was reported at Crosby Park between 5:30-6:55 p.m. Thursday, July 14.

   

—Two women reportedly ran off with a bottle of vodka and two bottles of lemon liqueur at Yarmo Liquors, 2489 W. Seventh St., around 6:42 p.m. Friday, July 15. They drove away in a silver Chevy Malibu.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of South Griggs Street on July 17.

Assault—A 46-year-old woman was arrested for felony assault with an axe on the 1200 block of Edgcumbe Road around 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, July 13.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—A 53-year-old man was arrested for trying to steal $677 in items from the Midway Target around 9:52 a.m. Saturday, July 16. He was banned from the store for a year.

Assault—An assault was reported during a shoplifting incident at Aldi, 1134 University Ave., around 11:38 a.m. Saturday, July 16.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 300 block of South Lexington Parkway on July 16-17.

Assault—An assault was reported in the area of Snelling and Randolph avenues by staff at Plum’s Bar around 1:26 a.m. Saturday, July 16. The victim could not be located at the scene, but later called to report the incident.

Mendota Heights

Burglary—A resident reportedly stole packages from the mail area of a building on the 1000 block of Highway 13 around 1:50 p.m. Friday, July 8.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 500 block of Mendota Road and the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road on July 8, and on Dorset Road near Mears Avenue on July 11.

—Mail was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Dodd Road on July 11 and 14.

Miscellaneous—A child was taken to the hospital after being bitten by a dog during Mendota Days around 6:14 p.m. Saturday, July 9, on the 1300 block of Highway 13. The dog owner was planning to supply veterinary records.

—A man was arrested for driving without a license on Mendota Heights Road and Lexington Avenue around 9:26 p.m. Saturday, July 9.

—A bicyclist received minor injuries after colliding with a vehicle on Huber Drive and Mendota Heights Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 12.

—A driver was arrested for DWI after he reportedly was found not moving in a drive-through lane for several minutes on the 700 block of South Plaza Way around 1:53 p.m. Tuesday, July 12. The suspect was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Merriam Park

Missing dogs found—Two dogs were missing on July 14 after an overnight break-in at Saint Paul Paws, 1900 University Ave. Six of the dogs being boarded at the business were released from their kennels. Three were found running loose, while a fourth was recovered that afternoon. The two still missing were a miniature pinscher named Cooper and a white German shepherd named Gunny. By July 16, police said both dogs had been returned. Gunny was reportedly located near Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, and Cooper was found near a railroad in Saint Paul.

Burglary—A burglary was reported on the 2100 block of Marshall Avenue between 12:35-6:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 12.

—Many items were reported stolen from an apartment that was burglarized on the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue around 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 13.

Theft—A 25-year-old man was arrested for felony possession of a stolen vehicle and felony drug possession at the Quality Inn, 1964 University Ave., around 3:24 a.m. Wednesday, July 13.

—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1700 block of Iglehart Avenue on July 15, the 100 block of North Fairview Avenue on July 16, on Finn Street and Dayton Avenue on July 16, and at the Holiday Station at 281 N. Snelling Ave. on July 17.

 

Snelling-Hamline

Burglary—A burglary was reported on the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue on July 16-17.

Assault—A male suspect with two children in tow reportedly threatened staff at knifepoint at the Dollar Tree, 1420 University Ave., around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 13.

—A suspect reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened another man near Starbucks, 234 N. Snelling Ave., around 8:07 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen at the Midway Cub Foods on Thursday, July 14.

Summit Hill

Burglary—Grand Spectacle, 764 Grand Ave., was broken into around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, July 14.

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1100 block of Grand Avenue around 9:54 a.m. Friday, July 15.

Summit-University

Theft—A theft valued at more than $1,000 was reported at Dale Street Place, 313 N. Dale St., between July 12-14.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Hague Avenue on Thursday, July 14.

Assault—A 37-year-old homeless woman was cited for punching and pushing a victim to the ground on the 400 block of Selby Avenue around 3:56 p.m. Thursday, July 14.

—A 56-year-old man was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon on the 800 block of Ashland Avenue around 5:32 a.m. Sunday, July 17. A male victim sustained minor injuries.

Weapons—A woman reported finding a bullet in her yard on the 1000 block of Marshall Avenue around 10:38 a.m. Wednesday, July 13.

West End

Burglary—Pajarito, 605 W. Seventh St., was broken into around 4:12 a.m. Thursday, July 14. Police arrived to find the door open and items scattered on the floor.

—A burglary was reported at Public Storage, 875 Montreal Ave., between 10:39 a.m.-12:02 p.m. Friday, July 15.

—A break-in was reported on the 900 block of Grand Avenue on July 12-16.

—Patrick McGovern’s Pub, 241 W. Seventh St., was burglarized around 4:43 a.m. Sunday, July 17. A suspect was later arrested near the Dorothy Day Residence at 215 Old Sixth St.

Assault—A 37-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting a security guard at United Hospital around 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

—A 38-year-old man was arrested for felony assault with a BB gun at Keg & Case Market, 928 W. Seventh St., around 8:13 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1300 and 1600 block of West Seventh Street on Wednesday, July 13.

—Burger Moe’s, 242 W. Seventh St., reported a theft of more than $2,000 in cash on Friday, July 15.

—A truck and trailer were reported stolen on the 300 block of Bay Street around 9:24 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Miscellaneous—A 35-year-old man was arrested for felony damage to the outside of the parking garage at 145 N. Smith Ave. around 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, July 13.
