The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between July 21-22.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 700 block of South Mississippi River Boulevard on July 20-21, and the 2000 block of Bayard Avenue on July 21.
—A woman reported a theft at Planet Fitness, 2401 W. Seventh St., around 11:01 a.m. Thursday, July 21.
Miscellaneous—Police conducted a welfare check on a person sleeping in a vehicle around 9:48 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, on the 2000 block of Juno Avenue and arrested at 36-year-old man for DWI, felony possession of a firearm by a felon and seven outstanding warrants.
Theft—A 28-year-old woman was arrested for trying to steal more than $500 in items from the Midway Target around 9:10 p.m. Thursday, July 21.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1800 block of Randolph Avenue on July 19, and the 1200 block of Sargent Avenue on July 19-20.
Theft—Items were reported stolen from a work van on the 1700 block of James Avenue at 10:09 a.m. Friday, July 15.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1100 block of Orchard Place on July 15, the 1300 block of Northland Drive on July 15 and 19, and the 2500 block of Lexington Avenue on July 20.
—Police arrested suspects during a catalytic converter theft in progress on the 1300 block of Northland Drive around 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 20.
Weapons—A male was arrested for reportedly pulling a gun on another male on the 300 block of Picnic Island Road around 5:08 p.m. Saturday, July 16.
Assault—A woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation after threatening someone with a bat on the 2300 block of Swan Drive around 7:16 p.m. Tuesday, July 19.
Miscellaneous—A 34-year-old man was arrested for DWI and drug possession after police responded to a report of an unconscious driver behind the wheel of a vehicle around 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, on the 600 block of Lilydale Road.
Burglary—Lyn Lake Chiropractic Saint Paul, 91 N. Snelling Ave., was broken into during the evening of July 19-20. Electronics and cash were reported stolen.
Miscellaneous—A 32-year-old woman was arrested for DWI and child endangerment after she was seen driving a disabled vehicle on the side of the road on Snelling and Selby avenues around 12:52 a.m. Wednesday, July 20.
—A traffic accident involving a pedestrian was reported on the 100 block of North Snelling Avenue around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, July 21.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Avon Street and Grand Avenue on July 19-20.
—A suspect reportedly was caught on video stealing a man’s wallet that had been left behind at U.S. Bank, 1071 Grand Ave., around 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, July 20.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported to an apartment building on the 1100 block of Saint Clair Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 20.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Dayton Avenue on July 19-20.
—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 700 block of Concordia Avenue on July 14-21, and the 500 block of Laurel Avenue on July 20-21.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 700 block of James Avenue on July 19-20.
—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 800 block of Montreal Way on July 20, and the 300 block of North Smith Avenue and 600 block of Armstrong Avenue on July 21.
