The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between August 9-10.

Highland Park

Burglary—An occupied home was broken into on the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue around 4:16 p.m. Monday, August 8.

— Poke House & Tea Bar, 1570 Randolph Ave., was broken into around 6:32 a.m. Tuesday, August 9.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on Cleveland and Juno avenues on August 5-9, the 1400 block of Scheffer Avenue on August 7-8, the 1700 block of Highland Parkway on August 8, on Scheffer and Snelling avenues on August 8-9, and the 2100 block of Youngman Avenue on August 9,

—Police received a report of suspects rummaging through vehicles on the 500 block of Montrose Lane between 1:55-3:11 p.m. Monday, August 8. The vehicle the suspects were using reportedly had been stolen in Minneapolis.

Assault—A woman said he was punched multiple times and threatened with a knife by her wife on the 1500 block of Saint Paul Avenue around 4:38 a.m. Tuesday, August 9.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen at Rayven Inc. at 431 N. Griggs St. on August 9.

—A 22-year-old man was arrested for tampering with vehicles, receiving stolen property and fleeing police on the 1200 block of Dayton Avenue around 3:49 a.m. Tuesday, August 9.

—Three male suspects reportedly took off by light rail with seven comforters they shoplifted from the Midway Target around 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 9.

Miscellaneous—A 33-year-old man was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender after police responded to Concordia Avenue and Griggs Street on a report of three people trying to steal a catalytic converter around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, August 10.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 100 block of South Fairview Avenue on August 8-9, and the 2000 block of Saint Clair Avenue on August 9.

Merriam Park

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 400 block of Herschel Street on August 10.

Summit Hill

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Grand Avenue on August 8-9.

Weapons—A shell casing was recovered in an alley after gunfire was reported on the 800 block of Goodrich Avenue around 4:13 p.m. Monday, August 8.

Summit-University

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 600 block of Dayton Avenue on August 5, and the 900 block of Laurel Avenue on August 8.

Weapons—A spent 9mm casing was found after gunfire was reported on Selby Avenue and Dale Street around 12:54 a.m. Monday, August 8.

West End

Burglary—A 32-year-old man was arrested for breaking into a residence on the 100 block of Leech Street around 11:16 a.m. Wednesday, August 3.

Theft—A moped was reported stolen on the 300 block of Colborne Street around 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 9.

Assault—A 41-year-old man was cited for assaulting security at United Hospital around 3:06 a.m. Wednesday, August 10.

Miscellaneous—A pedestrian was injured during a traffic accident on Smith Avenue and Kellogg Boulevard around 4:47 p.m. Monday, August 8.
