The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between August 30-31.

Highland Park

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1800 block of Wordsworth Avenue on August 15, and the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue and the 1100 block of Randolph Avenue on August 28-29.

—Some $1,700 in eyeglass frames were reported stolen from Pearle Vision, 2024 Ford Pkwy., around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.

Miscellaneous—A warrant was served at a residence on the 2000 block of Randolph Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, August 25, following numerous complaints about people living in the garage, possible drug activity, disorderly conduct, parking issues, public urination and sleeping in vehicles. Law enforcement officers found someone staying in the garage and living in the basement. The homeowner had been previously notified that was not allowed. Due to the interior condition of the residence, a report was made for city code enforcement.

Lexington-Hamline

Robbery—A purse-snatching was reported at the Midway Target around 8:52 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.

Theft—A moped was reported stolen on the 1300 block of Selby Avenue on August 28-29.

Macalester-Groveland

Burglary—A burglary of an occupied residence was reported at the Grove, 246 S. Snelling Ave., around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 24.

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Warwick Street on August 25.

—A theft from auto was reported on Summit Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard between 11-11:28 a.m. Tuesday, August 30.

Mendota Heights/Lilydale

Weapons—Eleven spent shell casings were found in the parking lot near the boat launch on the 1800 block of Lilydale Road around 3:52 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.

Miscellaneous—Criminal damage to property was reported on the 900 block of Lilydale Road between 6:49-7:48 p.m. Monday, August 29.

Snelling-Hamline

Burglary—A vehicle was reported stolen during a garage burglary on the 1500 block of Selby Avenue during the evening of August 28-29.

Summit-University

Weapons—A spent shell casing was found outside a residence on the 500 block of Dayton Avenue on August 29.

—A shell casing was recovered on the sidewalk on Carroll Avenue and Avon Street around 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.

West End

Weapons—Several spent shell casings were found after a report of gunfire under the bridge near Butternut Avenue and Bay Street around 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.

Miscellaneous—A 24-year-old woman was arrested for DWI after an accident with property damage on West Seventh and Leech streets around 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, August 30.
