The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between September 1-2.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 800 block of South Cleveland Avenue on August 31.
Assault—A woman reported that her daughter kicked in her bedroom door and assaulted her on the 1700 block of Ford Parkway around 7:23 a.m. Wednesday, August 31.
Miscellaneous—Police dispatched a deer that had been severely injured on Edgcumbe Road and Howell Street around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, September 1.
Miscellaneous—A 29-year-old woman was arrested for DWI and drug possession after she was found slumped in a vehicle on Summit Avenue and Griggs Street around 10:14 p.m. Wednesday, August 31.
Burglary—An apartment burglary was reported on the 1400 block of Osceola Avenue between 2:28-3:19 p.m. Wednesday, August 31.
Burglary—A man was arrested after he was found rummaging through a vehicle in a garage on the 1700 block of Lansford Lane around 9:38 p.m. Tuesday, August 30.
—An electric bicycle was reported stolen from an underground garage on the 700 block of Linden Street around 1:43 p.m. Thursday, September 1.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 900 block of Delaware Avenue on August 27-28.
—A male reportedly stole a pizza from a business on the 900 block of Highway 13 around 1:07 p.m. Tuesday, August 30. Vehicle information led officers to an address where contact was made with the suspect, who agreed to go back and pay for the pizza.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 500 block of West Annapolis Street on September 1. The owner believes suspects entered his unlocked garage, stole car keys and used them to take the vehicle parked outside.
Miscellaneous—A man was arrested for an outstanding warrant and cited for trespassing and disorderly conduct after he reportedly was seen walking onto a porch and looking through belongings on the 700 block of Mohican Lane around 2:55 a.m. Sunday, August 28.
—A 25-year-old man was cited for DUI after crashing his motorcycle on the 600 block of Lilydale Road around 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, August 31.
—Police responded to a disturbance around 4:53 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, on the 700 block of Plaza Drive. A woman said she was the owner and fired an employee for having an affair with her husband. It was determined that the woman was not the owner and had no right to fire anyone.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 400 block of Dewey Street on August 31.
Assault—An assault with a gun was reported on the 600 block of Grand Avenue around 2:22 a.m. Saturday, August 27. The victim was taken to United Hospital.
—A person was shot in the shoulder around 6:29 p.m. Thursday, September 1, near the Speedway at 925 Grand Ave. The victim was taken to Regions Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Miscellaneous—Police responded to Billy’s on Grand, 857 Grand Ave., around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, September 1, for a report of people talking loudly in the parking lot.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 700 block of Marshall Avenue on August 26-27.
Miscellaneous—A 56-year-old man was arrested for felony DWI after being found slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle on the 300 block of Pleasant Avenue around 10:04 p.m. Thursday, September 1. The suspect was reportedly asleep in the driver’s seat with the vehicle in drive and his foot on the brake.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 200 block of South Exchange Street on August 31.
—A female reportedly stole a coin machine off the counter at Speedway, 1445 W. Seventh St., around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, September 1.
Assault—A 14-year-old boy was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and fleeing police at Children’s Hospital, 345 N. Smith Ave., around 10:37 a.m. Thursday, September 1.
Miscellaneous—A 27-year-old man was arrested for felony damage to property after he reportedly smashed the windows of three vehicles in the United Hospital parking lot at 199 N. Smith Ave. around 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, August 31.
