The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources  gathered between September 7-9.

Highland Park

Theft—A theft from auto was reported in the Highland Bridge development on the 900 block of South Mississippi River Boulevard around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

—Items valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle at Crosby Farm Park between 9:45-10:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8.

—A motorcycle was reported stolen on the 1700 block of Yorkshire Avenue between 5:07-6:29 p.m. Thursday, September 8.

Lexington-Hamline

Assault—A 21-year-old man was arrested for felony assault after he reportedly was seen waiving a knife at Speedway, 399 N. Lexington Pkwy., around 4:40 p.m. Thursday, September 8. The suspect also had three outstanding warrants. No injuries were reported.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1200 block of Juliet Avenue on September 5-6, and the 1900 block of Juliet on September 6-7.

—Items worth more than $1,000 were reported stolen at Speedway, 2051 Grand Ave., around noon Wednesday, September 7.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicleson the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue on September 7.

Mendota Heights

Burglary—A break-in was reported on the 1300 block of Highway 13 around 6:19 a.m. Monday, September 5.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 700 block of Evergreen Knoll on September 2, and the 1300 block of Northland Drive and 600 block of Evergreen Knoll on September 4,

—A victim parked in the lot of the Big Rivers Trail on Lilydale Road and returned to find his window shattered and a cooler of beer stolen around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

Weapons—A driver was stopped for a traffic violation and later arrested after police recovered a gun with no serial number on Highways 62 and 35E around 8:23 p.m. Saturday, September 3.

Miscellaneous—A former client was caught on camera slashing the tires of a vehicle on the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

Merriam Park

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 500 block of West Lynnhurst Avenue on Wednesday, September 7.

—A shotgun, muzzle loader and other items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of North Finn Street around 7:28 p.m. Tuesday, September 6.

—A 35-year-old man was arrested for theft and possession of a gun by a felon after stealing a vehicle on Fry Street and University Avenue around 8 am. Friday, September 2.

—A shoplifting theft of more than $500 was reported at Play It Again Sports, 145 N. Snelling Ave., on Monday, September 5.

—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1800 and 2100 blocks of Dayton Avenue on September 7.

Snelling-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1500 block of Portland Avenue on Saturday, September 3.

Miscellaneous—A bicyclist was injured during a collision with a vehicle on Hamline and Ashland avenues around 5:55 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

Arson—A 57-year-old man was arrested for felony arson after reportedly setting a fire at the US. Post Office, 1430 Concordia Ave., around 10:29 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

Summit Hill

Theft—A running vehicle was reported stolen on the 1100 block of Saint Clair Avenue around 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

Miscellaneous—A 35-year-old man was arrested for two counts of felony damage to property after he reportedly threw chairs at the windows of Bread and Chocolate, 867 Grand Ave., and a brick toward another building at 949 Grand around 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, September 6.

Arson—An arson fire was reported on the Canadian Pacific Railroad property on the 1100 block of Saint Clair Avenue around 7:57 p.m. Thursday, September 8.

Summit-University

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Hague Avenue and Fisk Street on September 2-3.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 400 block of Selby Avenue on September 7-8.

West End

Burglary—A burglary and theft of a vehicle were reported on the 800 block of Tuscarora Avenue during the evening of September 5-6.

Theft—Two male suspects reportedly did more than $1,000 damage while trying to steal the catalytic converter from a recreational vehicle on Eleanor Avenue and Milton Street around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.

—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 300 block of Daly Street on September 8, and on Forbes and Smith avenues on September 8.

—A 40-year-old woman was cited for auto tampering after a resident found her in his SUV around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, September 8, on the 700 block of Bayard Avenue. 

Assault—An altercation between a resident and a newspaper delivery person was reported on the 600 block of Canton Street around 6:25 a.m. Thursday, September 8.

Weapons—A 33-year-old man was arrested for DWI and possession of a gun by an eligible after he was stopped for speeding on the 600 block of Canton Street around 6:46 p.m. Tuesday, September 6.
