The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between October 27-28.

Highland Park

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from two vehicles on the 600 block of South Cleveland Avenue on October 24-25 and 25-26.

Miscellaneous—A woman reportedly caused felony damage to her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle near the Lex Apartments, 1136 Randolph Ave., around 10:33 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—A man was cited with theft and trespassing after he reportedly tried to steal more than $144 in items from the Midway Target around 9:47 a.m. Thursday, October 27. He had been banned from the store due to a previous shoplifting incident in June.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Carroll Avenue on October 26.

—A wallet was reported stolen at Central High School between 4:24-5:10 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 2000 block of James Avenue on October 25-26, and on Summit and Cleveland avenues on October 26.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 2100 block of James Avenue on October 25-26.

Mendota Heights

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1000 block of Dakota Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22.

—A man was arrested for drug possession, theft and weapons charges after he was pulled over for speeding in a stolen vehicle on Highway 13 near Riverside Lane around 1:09 p.m. Thursday, October 27. He reportedly provided false information to police, was carrying suspected narcotics and had a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat.

Merriam Park

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1600 block of Marshall Avenue on October 25.

Arson—A vehicle fire was reported on the 1900 block of University Avenue around 8:51 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Weapons—A 34-year-old man with some 15 felony convictions was arrested for possession of a gun and ammunition by a felon, and drug possession on the 300 block of Pierce Street around 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Miscellaneous—Sixteen light poles had their wires cut and were not working in an apparent copper wire theft on Mississippi River Boulevard and Marshall Avenue around 11:29 p.m. Thursday, October 27.

Snelling-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of North Snelling Avenue on October 22-25.

—A phone, purse and wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle at LA Fitness, 1370 University Ave., around 7:12 a.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Summit Hill

Theft—Tools were reported stolen from a work vehicle on Goodrich Avenue and Oxford Street around 12:23 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

Assault—A male suspect reported being stabbed at the Tavern on Grand, 656 Grand Ave., around 4:14 a.m. Thursday, October 27. He was being treated at the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Miscellaneous—A 32-year-old man was arrested for DWI and child endangerment after causing an accident on South Lexington Parkway and Summit Avenue around 7:51 p.m. Wednesday, October 26.

West End

Assault—A 29-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting another woman near JR Mac’s Bar & Grill, 1420 W. Seventh St., around 2:07 p.m. Thursday, October 20.

Weapons—Four 9 mm shell casings were recovered after police responded to a report of gunfire on the 700 block of Tuscarora Avenue around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, October 25.
