The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between October 29-31.

Highland Park

Burglary—Items were reported stolen from a vehicle in a secure parking garage on the 2200 block of Youngman Avenue between 1:57-2:57 p.m. Thursday, October 27.

Theft—A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Cretin and Montreal avenues around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, October 29.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Concordia Avenue on October 28-29.

—A 31-year-old woman was cited for trying to steal more than $500 in items from the Midway Target on Sunday, October 27.

—A male suspect, who had previously stolen $3,000 worth of merchandise, was arrested for shoplifting and carrying a weapon at the Midway Target around 6:49 p.m. Sunday, October 30.

Miscellaneous—A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he appeared to be asleep at a green light on Lexington Parkway and University Avenue around 1:11 a.m. Sunday, October 30.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 1800 block of Grand Avenue on October 25-26, on Randolph Avenue and Howell Street on October 25-26, and on Juliet Avenue and Syndicate Street on October 27.

—A shoplifter reportedly threw a football at an employee before making off with more than $500 in items from Walgreens, 1585 Randolph Ave., around 8:56 p.m. Sunday, October 30.

Merriam Park

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1800 block of Feronia Avenue during the evening of October 29-30.

Summit Hill

Theft—A woman said two girls stole her purse and phone after she tried breaking up a fight in the parking lot behind Victoria Crossing West, 867 Grand Ave., around 2:47 a.m. Sunday, October 30.

Summit-University

Miscellaneous—Property damage and a downed power line were reported as the result of a traffic accident at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 285 N. Dale St., around 1:50 p.m. Saturday, October 29.

—A 14-year-old boy was arrested on multiple felony warrants for theft and weapons after he was pulled over for driving recklessly in a stolen vehicle around 12:15 a.m. Monday, October 31, on the 700 block of Concordia Avenue. Multiple people fled from the vehicle after it stopped, with officers able to detain three juveniles.

West End

Burglary—Focus Beyond Transitions, 340 Colborne St., was burglarized around 1147 a.m. Sunday, October 30.

Theft—A 29-year-old man was cited for breaking into a vehicle on the 600 block of Palace Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, October 30.

—Eight lanterns were reported stolen from a residence on the 200 block of Cliff Street around 1:09 a.m. Sunday, October 30.
