The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources  gathered between November 1-2.

Highland Park

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 600 block of Sue Place on October 25, and the 1700 block of Ford Parkway on November 1.

—A theft from auto was reported at Crosby Farm Park around 5:25 p.m. Saturday, October 29.

—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1300 block of West Maynard Drive on October 30-31, and the 1900 block of Hillcrest Avenue on November 1.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1100 block of Laurel Avenue on October 30.

Macalester-Groveland

Burglary—A break-in was reported at Red 6 Games, 1326 Grand Ave., around 10:33 a.m. Monday, October 31.

Theft—Suspects reportedly tried to steal a vehicle’s catalytic converter, but were scared off by neighbors on Vernon Street and Princeton Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, November 1.

Merriam Park

Burglary—Tools were reported stolen from a construction site at Our Lady of Peace, 2076 Saint Anthony Ave., between 7:27-8:17 a.m. Tuesday, November 1.

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1800 block of Portland Avenue on October 27-28.

—A 26-year-old man was arrested after he was found with a stolen vehicle at the Quality Inn, 1964 University Ave., around 11:13 p.m. Monday, October 31. He also was had an outstanding felony drug warrant.

—Two suspects reportedly stole a cellphone at Denny’s, 1664 University Ave., around 8:34 p.m. Monday, October 31.

—A trailer was reported stolen in the enclosed parking lot at Mr. Michael Recycles Bicycles, 520 N. Prior Ave., around 7:11 p.m. Monday, October 31.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1600 block of University Avenue on November 1.

Assault—A 48-year-old man was arrested for assault, reckless discharge of a firearm and carrying a gun in public without a permit after police responded to multiple reports of shots fired on the 300 block of Pierce Street around 9:51 p.m. Tuesday, November 1.

Snelling-Hamline

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of North Hamline Avenue on October 29.

Summit Hill

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 900 block of Goodrich Avenue on October 30-31.

Summit-University

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Ashland Avenue on October 31.

West End

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 700 block of West Seventh Street on October 31, and the 100 block of West Seventh on October 31-November 1.

Sex crime—A 29-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure on Douglas Street and Harrison Avenue around 12:15 p.m. Monday, October 31.

Assault—A man reportedly was assaulted by two males in an elevator at the Holiday Inn, 175 W. Seventh St., around 1:39 a.m. Wednesday, November 2.

Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the Irvine Exchange Apartments, 200 S. Exchange St., around 7:15 a.m. Sunday, October 30.
