The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between January 4-9.

Highland Park

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue on December 24-26, and the 1300 block of East Maynard Drive on January 5.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of South Snelling Avenue on December 29-January 2.

—A theft from a vehicle was reported at Crosby Farm Park around 3:15 p.m. Thursday, January 5.

Assault—A woman was reportedly assaulted on the 2100 block of Ford Parkway around 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, January 4.

—A 27-year-old man was arrested for felony domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call around 2:05 a.m. Saturday, January 7, in an apartment on the 1300 block of East Maynard Drive.

Miscellaneous—A woman with injuries was found in the street at Shepard Road and Davern Street around 11:53 a.m. Thursday, January 5, but declined medical transportation.

Lexington-Hamline

Miscellaneous—A 25-year-old man was arrested for DUI and felony drug possession after he was found slumped in a vehicle at the Midway Target around 9:18 p.m. Thursday, January 5.

—A 32-year-old man was arrested for DWI and drug possession after he was found unconscious behind the steering wheel of his vehicle on the 400 block of North Hamline Avenue around 1:50 p.m. Saturday, January 7.

Macalester-Groveland

Burglary—A home break-in was reported on the 200 block of Mount Curve Boulevard on January 8.

Theft—The catalytic converters was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1300 block of Saint Clair Avenue on January 2-5.

Miscellaneous—A 30-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process after she reportedly refused to leave Mike’s Tav on the Ave, 472 S. Snelling Ave., around 12:59 a.m. Saturday, January 7.

Mendota Heights

Theft—Items were reported stolen from three vehicles on the 600 block of Second Avenue around 7:35 a.m.-7:39 p.m. Wednesday, January 4.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1300 block of Northland Drive on January 4.

—A man entered a store, went into the bathroom, walked out and stole the businesses snowblower on the 900 block of Highway 13 around 6:22 a.m. Thursday, January 5.

—Officers responded to disturbing the peace call around 8:38 p.m. Thursday, January 5, on the 2000 block of Dodd Road. The caller wanted someone out of their vehicle. The person in the vehicle was arrested for two outstanding felony warrants and two misdemeanors.

Miscellaneous—A driver was arrested for DUI after he reportedly was seen running a stop sign and driving in the wrong direction on the I-35E near Highway 62 around 4:18 a.m. Friday, December 31.

—Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man out in the cold around 4:08 p.m. Sunday, January 1, on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. The man had been the driver of a nearby crashed vehicle and was taken to the hospital.

—The driver of a truck was arrested for DWI after he was seen speeding through a snowstorm on Delaware Avenue near Copperfield Drive around 11:41 p.m. Wednesday, January 4.

Merriam Park

Theft—A 36-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and fleeing police on Roblyn and Prior avenues around 8:33-11:14 a.m. Wednesday, January 4. Police were able to force the vehicle into a snowbank and the occupants tried to flee, but eventually surrendered.

—Vehicles were reported stolen on Shields Avenue and Roy Street on January 5, and the 1800 block of University Avenue on January 7.

Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the University of Saint Thomas around 6:10-6:30 p.m. on January 5., and on the 1600 block of Marshall Avenue during the evening of January 6-7.

—A public notification meeting regarding eight Level III predatory sex offenders registering to live in Saint Paul is scheduled to held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, at the West District Police Station, 389 N. Hamline Ave. Locally, the list includes Anthony John Dentz, 27, who has registered to live on the 400 block of Pierce Street, and Jeremiah Marquis Johnson, 38, who has registered to live on the 2100 block of University Ave. For information, contact Officers Doverspike or Kuntz at 651-266-5871 or 651-266-5706.

Snelling-Hamline

Burglary—A man was arrested for breaking into a home on the 1300 block of Laurel Avenue around 10:11 p.m. Sunday, January 8. He also was arrested for auto theft, criminal damage to property, drug possession and giving false information to police.

Summit Hill

Robbery—A robbery was reported on the 1000 block of Grand Avenue around 3:13 p.m. Thursday, January 5.

Theft—Items valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 700 block of Grand Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 4.

Summit-University

Assault—A 48-year-old man was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon at the Dale Place Apartments, 313 N. Dale St., around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 4.

Weapons—Someone reportedly shot at a woman’s vehicle with a BB gun near Dale Street and Selby Avenue around 3:27-4:08 p.m. Sunday, January 8.

West End

Burglary—A break-in was reported at Best Pawn, 966 W. Seventh St., around 8:23 a.m. Friday, January 6.

—An apartment break-in was reported on the 300 block of West Seventh Street around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, January 7.

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 700 block of South Victoria Street on January 4, and the 400 block of West Seventh Street on January 5.

—College Prep Elementary, 355 Randolph Ave., reported being swindled out of $45,000 by a fraudulent online firm posing as a bus company around 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, January 4.

— The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Bay Street and James Avenue on January 3-5,

Miscellaneous—A 22-year-old man was arrested for DWI after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle on Jefferson Avenue and Clifton Street around 1:37 a.m. Saturday, January 7.
