The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between January 18-19.

Highland Park

Theft—A pickpocket theft of more than $500 was reported on the 2100 block of Ford Parkway between 1-3 p.m. Friday, January 13.

—A theft from auto was reported at Hidden Falls Park between 2-4 p.m. Friday, January 13.

—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of South Snelling Avenue on January 17-18.

Miscellaneous—Police received a report of a disorderly man in the area of Ford Parkway and Kenneth Street and later cited a 32-year-old man for trespassing near the Banfield Pet Hospital in the Highland Shopping Center around 12:06 p.m. Wednesday, January 18.

Macalester-Groveland

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 200 block of Brimhall Street on January 14-15, and on Pascal Street and Grand Avenue on January 17.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on Grand and Snelling avenues on January 18.

Merriam Park

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 200 block of Fry Street on January 13-14, and the 400 block of North Cleveland Avenue on January 18.

Summit Hill

Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Goodrich Avenue and Lexington Parkway on January 12-13.

Summit-University

Shooting—A juvenile male was found shot in the head around 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, at the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center, 270 N. Lexington Pkwy. The victim was transported to Regions Hospital and was listed in critical condition. According to media reports, nearby Central High School was shut down as police cordoned off the area in search of the shooter. Police said a 26-year-old male suspect was later located at his residence in East Saint Paul and booked on suspicion of first-degree assault. A handgun had been recovered.

Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on Dayton Avenue and Farrington Street on January 15, and the 300 block of Dayton on January 15-16.

West End

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 300 block of North Smith Avenue on January 17.
