The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between February 16-17.
Highland Park
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1000 block of South Howell Street on February 12-13.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue during the evening of February 15-16.
Miscellaneous—A 44-year-old man was arrested for felony drug possession after multiple bags of drugs were found in his vehicle on Ford Parkway and Mississippi River Boulevard around 3:48 p.m. Thursday, February 16. The man also had an outstanding felony warrant for drugs.
Lexington-Hamline
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 300 block of North Dunlap Street on February 16.
Macalester-Groveland
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Snelling and Randolph avenues on February 13-14.
Mendota Heights
Theft—Three vehicles were broken into on the 1200 block of Lilydale Road between 11:11 a.m.-12:34 p.m. Saturday, February 11. A purse was taken in one of the incidents.
—Items were reported stolen from two vehicles on the 1300 block of Acacia Boulevard at 1:31 p.m. Saturday, February 11.
Merriam Park
Snelling-Hamline
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Saratoga Street and Selby Avenue on February 14.
Summit Hill
Theft—Items valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle at the Pleasant Arena, 848 Pleasant Ave., around 9:10-11:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 15.
—A running vehicle was reported stolen on the 1100 block of Grand Avenue around 7:35 p.m. Thursday, February 16.
Miscellaneous—A 37-year-old man was arrested for drug possession and violating a geographic restriction order on Grand Avenue and Lexington Parkway around 5:12 a.m. Thursday, February 16.
Summit-University
Robbery—A woman said several suspects robbed her at gunpoint in the parking lot of her residence on the 500 block of Saint Anthony Avenue around 6:43 p.m. Thursday, February 16. Multiple items and cash valued at more than $6,000 were reported taken.
Theft—Items valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Laurel Avenue on February 13-15.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on Holly Avenue and Dale Street on February 16.
Assault—Officers were dispatched for a car accident and determined that an assault had occurred on the 200 block of Marshall Avenue around 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, February 15.
Miscellaneous—Police responded to a noise complaint and arrested a 32-year-old man for a felony probation violation for aggravated robbery around 12:40 a.m. Thursday, February 16, on the 200 block of Marshall Avenue.
—A 35-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct after he was found walking around naked in a locked building at 1000 University Ave. around 10:33 p.m. Thursday, February 16.
West End
Theft—A 37-year-old man was arrested for theft at Patrick McGovern’s Pub, 225 W. Seventh St., around 9:37 a.m. Thursday, February 16. He was found passed out in the basement, where he reportedly has been drinking stolen alcohol from the pub.
—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from two vehicles on the 200 block of Wilkin Street on February 14-16.
