The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between March 9-10.
Highland Park
Theft—A purse-snatching and items stolen from a vehicle were reported at Crosby Farm Park between 12:15-1:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 7.
Assault—An aggravated domestic assault and felony damage to property were reported on the 1900 block of Ford Parkway at 12:07 p.m. Thursday, March 9.
Lexington-Hamline
Miscellaneous—Police were called to Central High School regarding a harassing phone call issue around 11:49 a.m. Thursday, March 9.
Mendota Heights
Burglary—A vehicle was reported stolen from a garage on the 900 block of Delaware Avenue around 8:51 a.m. Friday, March 3. It was later recovered in a hotel parking lot in Eagan.
Theft—Two juvenile were arrested for erratically driving a stolen vehicle on I-35E and Wagon Wheel Trail around 4:49 a.m. Sunday, March 5.
Merriam Park
Robbery—A robbery at gunpoint was reported on Montrose and Riverwood places at 9:59 a.m. Thursday, March 9.
Burglary—Multiple items were reported stolen during an apartment break-in on the 100 block of Otis Avenue around 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1800 block of Dayton Avenue on March 7-8, and the 100 block of Montrose Place on March 9.
Assault—Officers responded to an apartment on the 400 block of Dewey Street at 10:31 a.m. Thursday, March 9, regarding a domestic assault with a cutting instrument.
Miscellaneous—A 37-year-old woman was arrested for violating an order for protection at an apartment on the 1900 block of University Avenue at 10:37 p.m. Thursday, March 9. The suspect had seven outstanding warrants, including arson and felony assaults on emergency medical personnel and a police officer.
Snelling-Hamline
Theft—A man reportedly threw a stolen bicycle at the front doors of the Western District Police Station, 389 N. Hamline Ave., around 6:11 p.m. Thursday, March 9. The suspect was identified and released prior to officers learning of the bicycle’s stolen status.
Summit-University
Weapons—A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of a gun without a permit and driving a stolen vehicle following a traffic stop near Marshall Avenue and Mackubin Street around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8. A 19-year-old male passenger also was arrested for possessing a gun without a permit and vehicle tampering.
—Gunfire was reported on the 800 block of Concordia Avenue around 9:49 p.m. Thursday, March 9.
West End
Theft—A U-Haul was reported stolen on the 200 block of South Western Avenue at 1:44 a.m. Friday, March 10. Officers located the U-Haul several blocks away on McBoal Street.
Miscellaneous—A 24-year-old woman was arrested for drug possession after police responded to a report of a female walking around with a baseball bat at the Alvera Apartments, 337 W. Seventh St., at 2:01 p.m. Wednesday, March 8. The suspect had outstanding warrants for criminal damage to property.
