The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between March 18-20.

Highland Park

Theft—A man wearing a black mask reportedly stole three purses from an unlocked car at the BP Station, 2005 Ford Pkwy., around 9:38 p.m. Sunday, March 19. He left in a black car with a light red interior.

—A scooter was reported stolen at Gracewood Assisted Living and Memory Care, 1925 Graham Ave., around 6:24 p.m. Sunday, March 19.

—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1300 block of Saint Paul Avenue around 8:34 p.m. Sunday, March 19.

Miscellaneous—A 27-year-old man was arrested for DWI after he was found asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle on the 2600 block of West Seventh Street, right before entering the freeway, around 9:03 a.m. Sunday, March 19.

Lexington-Hamline

Theft—A 44-year-old man was stopped for shoplifting at the Midway Target around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, March 18. He was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants, including ones for assault, theft and trespassing.

Summit Hill

Burglary—An apartment break-in was reported on the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue between 5:52-8:26 p.m. Sunday, March 19.

Summit-University

Robbery—A strong-arm robbery and assault were reported on the 200 block of North Avon Street during the evening of March 17-18.

West End

Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1200 block of West Seventh Street on March 16-17, and the 100 block of West Seventh on March 19.

—Two guns were reported stolen from a vehicle in the Holiday Inn parking lot at 175 W. Seventh St. between 10:32 a.m.-12:03 p.m. Sunday, March 19. Another vehicle was also entered in the lot around that same time.

Assault—Police responded to a report of a male who was assaulted by staff at Patrick McGovern’s Pub, 225 W. Seventh St., around 11:03 p.m. Friday, March 17. A victim also reportedly received minor facial injuries during an assault at the pub around 10:30 that evening.

—Two men said they were assaulted by a bouncer at the Eagle Street Grille, 174 W. Seventh St., around 2:48 a.m. Saturday, March 18.

Miscellaneous—The city’s no parking signs that were posted along the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade route were found removed from their posts on Fifth Street between Seventh and Wabash streets on Friday, March 17. Additional city no parking signs that were screwed into wooden posts were also reportedly torn off along West Seventh between Kellogg Boulevard and Walnut Street.

—A 38-year-old man was arrested for DWI after he reportedly crashed into multiple vehicles at McDonald’s on West Seventh Street and Jefferson Avenue around 8:04 p.m. Saturday, March 18. Police located the suspect leaving the drive-through.
