The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between March 25-27.

Highland Park

Theft—Eyeglass frames valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen at Pearle Vision, 2024 Ford Pkwy., around 1:15 p.m. Friday, March 24.

Assault—A 22-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault and possession of a gun without a permit at the Communities of River Crossing, 1735 Grand Ave., around 3:47 p.m. Sunday, March 26. According to police, the incident stemmed from a door ding that occurred in the apartment’s underground garage a month earlier and involved a 17-year-old. The suspect and teen reportedly walked past each in the mail room on March 26 and exchanged words. They separated, but moments later the suspect emerged with a gun and threatened to start shooting.

Lexington-Hamline

Robbery—A carjacking was reported on University Avenue and Lexington Parkway between 7-8 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

Burglary—A 24-year-old man was arrested for felony burglary following a short foot pursuit at the Midway Target around 5:20 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

Macalester-Groveland

Robbery—Walgreens, 1585 Randolph Ave., was robbed by a person who claimed to have a gun around 7:35 a.m. Sunday, March 26.

Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on Mississippi River Boulevard and Randolph Avenue around 3:47 p.m. Saturday, March 25. It was later located and returned to the owner.

—A woman said she woke up to see the Northern Lights and realized her vehicle had been stolen on the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue around 4:28 a.m. Sunday, March 26.

Merriam Park

Assault—A 28-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting another woman at the Quality Inn, 1964 University Ave., around 9:10 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported at the University of Saint Thomas around 9:45 a.m. Friday, March 24.

Snelling-Hamline

Burglary—A burglary was reported at Feist Animal Hospital, 1430 Marshall Ave., around 12:58 a.m. Sunday, March 26.

Assault—A man was reportedly stabbed at the Midway Cub Foods around 5:27 a.m. Saturday, March 25.

Summit Hill

Burglary—Suspects reportedly broke into a garage and stole a vehicle on the 500 block of Summit Avenue on March 22-25.

Miscellaneous—A 45-year-old man was arrested for DWI and tampering with an ignition interlock device after he was found slumped over in a vehicle near Grand Avenue and Milton Street around 10:50 p.m. Sunday, March 26.

Summit-University

Theft—A gun was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Laurel Avenue during the evening of March 25-26.

West End

Burglary—A break-in was reported at Joe and Stan’s Pub & Grill, 949 W. Seventh St., around 5:55 a.m. Saturday, March 25.

—An apartment break-in was reported at Irvine Park Towers, 291 W. Seventh St., around 2:52 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

—A change machine was reported stolen during a break-in at Speedway, 1734 W. Seventh St., around 2:12 a.m. Sunday, March 26.

—A home break-in was reported on the 400 block of Goodhue Street around 1:15 p.m. Sunday, March 26.

Theft—The Saint Paul Department of Public Works reported a loss valued at more than $1,000 on Scheffer Avenue and Palmer Place around 8 a.m. Friday, March 24.

Assault—A man was reportedly punched and run over by an Amazon delivery driver on the 900 block of Randolph Avenue around 1:02 p.m. Saturday, March 25. The victim was found lying in the middle of the road and was taken to a local hospital.
