The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between April 29-May 1.
Highland Park
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 900 block of Saint Paul Avenue on April 28, the 1300 block of Alton Street on April 28-29, and the 1400 block of Saint Paul Avenue on April 30.
Weapons—Gunfire was reported on the 500 block of South Cleveland Avenue at 7:22 p.m. on April 29, and on Davern Street and Saint Paul Avenue at 4:03 p.m. on April 30.
—Police recovered live ammunition and suspected narcotics on Bohland Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard around 5:52 p.m. Saturday, April 29.
Lexington-Hamline
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1200 block of Carroll Avenue around 9:19 a.m. Friday, April 28.
Macalester-Groveland
Burglary—Tools were reported stolen in a residential burglary on the 1800 block of Grand Avenue during the evening of April 29-30.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen at Macalester College during the evening of April 29-30.
Merriam Park
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on Otis and Marshall avenues between 7:43-11 a.m. on April 28, and at the University of Saint Thomas between 9:32 a.m.-7:38 p.m. on April 30.
Snelling-Hamline
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1400 block of Iglehart Avenue on April 23-28, and on Hamline and University avenues on April 28.
Summit-University
Burglary—An occupied home was burglarized on the 800 block of Holly Avenue around 10:03 p.m. Friday, April 28.
—An apartment break-in was reported on the 600 block of Summit Avenue during the evening of April 28-29.
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 200 block of North Grotto Street on April 26-28, and the 600 block of Hague Avenue and the 400 block of Daly Street on April 28,
Assault—A 43-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting another woman after police responded to a fight on the 200 block of Marshall Avenue around 9:58 p.m. Saturday, April 29.
Weapons—A magazine to a handgun was reportedly found in the street outside Maxfield Elementary School, 380 N. Victoria St., around 10:26 a.m. Friday, April 28.
Miscellaneous—Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and arrested a 19-year-old woman for DWI and drug possession on the 700 block of Selby Avenue around 5:12 p.m. Friday, April 28.
West End
Theft—An electric scooter was reported stolen outside of Speedway, 1125 W. Seventh St., around 5:04 p.m. Friday, April 28.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on West Seventh Street and Goodrich Avenue around 6:34 p.m. Sunday, April 30.
Assault—An assault with a dangerous weapon was reported at the Saint Paul Tap, 825 Jefferson Ave., around 5:53 p.m. Friday, April 28. The victim received a laceration on top of her head and was taken to the hospital.
—A man said he was assaulted by bouncers after he exited the ladies’ restroom at Wild Bill’s, 175 W. Seventh St., around 11:48 a.m. Sunday, April 30. He was taken to the hospital.
Weapons—Police received multiple reports of gunfire near McBoal Street and Smith Avenue at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, April 30.
