The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between May 16-17.
Highland Park
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 2100 block of Pinehurst Avenue at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 16.
—A theft from auto and damage to property were reported on Crosby Farm Road around 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 16.
—Two men, ages 58 and 61, were arrested for felony theft from the city after police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Edgcumbe Road and Saint Paul Avenue at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday, May 17.
Lexington-Hamline
Miscellaneous—A 24-year-old man was cited for obstructing the legal process and drug possession after police responded to a domestic altercation on North Lexington Parkway and Ashland Avenue at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 16.
Macalester-Groveland
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on Wheeler Street and Summit Avenue on May 14-15, and the 1100 block of James Avenue on May 15.
—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 1900 block of Fairmount Avenue on May 15, and on Snelling and Grand avenues on May 16.
Merriam Park
Burglary—A break-in that was reported at Total Tool Supply, 315 Pierce St., around 3:09 a.m. Wednesday, May 17. Suspects reportedly used a cutting tool to get into the fence, forced open the store door and stole tools from inside.
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 2100 block of Marshall Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14.
Snelling-Hamline
Theft—A 22-year-old man was arrested for receiving stolen property after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle on the 1500 block of Carroll Avenue at 5:42 a.m. Monday, May 15. He also had an assault warrant out of Wright County.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1300 block of University Avenue around 6:23 p.m. Monday, May 15.
Summit-University
Theft—Vehicles were reported stolen on the 600 block of Portland Avenue on May 12-15, and the 100 block of Summit Avenue on May 16.
West End
Miscellaneous—A 30-year-old man was cited for trespassing after he refused to leave United Hospital around 4:34 a.m. Monday, May 15.
