The following criminal incidents were compiled from Saint Paul and Mendota Heights police department reports and other sources gathered between May 25-26.
Highland Park
Burglary—A suspect reportedly broke into a condominium building on the 2200 block of Youngman Avenue and was caught on video trying to get into many of the units around 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
—Multiple firearms were reported stolen during an apartment burglary on the 1300 block of Davern Street at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
Theft—A suspect was captured stealing a four-wheeler from a secure garage at Graham Place Senior Living, 1745 Graham Ave., around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
Assault—A victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries following an assault on the 2000 block of Randolph Avenue around 11:25 p.m. Thursday, May 25.
Lexington-Hamline
Theft—Two women, ages 31 and 34, were arrested for committing credit card fraud at the Midway Target around 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, May 24. They were part of a group that arrived at the store in a stolen vehicle. One woman had a theft warrant and the other had felony warrants for forgery, gun possession, theft and drugs.
Assault—An assault was reported at the High School for Recording Arts, 1166 University Ave., around 4:08 p.m. Tuesday, May 23.
Miscellaneous—A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Saint Anthony Avenue and Lexington Parkway around 8:20 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
Macalester-Groveland
Burglary—A vehicle and other items were reported stolen during a break-in of an apartment on the 1500 block of Grand Avenue between 4:12-5:43 a.m. Wednesday, May 24.
Miscellaneous—Felony damage to property was reported on Fairmount and Hamline avenues between 1:11-2:17 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
Mendota Heights
Burglary—A burglary was reported on the 700 block of Main Street at 8:51 a.m. Tuesday, May 23.
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 2000 block of South Victoria Road on May 21, and the 1300 block of Northland Drive on May 22.
—Two suspects were arrested after police responded to a call of people taking mail and going through cars on the 700 block of Pondhaven Lane around 2:37 a.m. Monday, May 22.
—A suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant after stealing a vehicle on the 2100 block of Glen Toro Road around 11:35 a.m. Monday, May 22. Police used GPS tracking to find the vehicle and discovered the suspect at a nearby house.
Merriam Park
Theft—Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles on the 400 block of North Cleveland Avenue on May 22, and the 1600 block of Ashland Avenue on May 24.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on Summit and Cretin avenues around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
Arson—A stolen vehicle was found fully engulfed in flames on the 2100 block of Saint Anthony Avenue around 3:20 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
—Arson was reported on the 1700 block of Laurel Avenue between 7:44-8:20 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
Snelling-Hamline
Theft—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue around 10:18 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
—Officers tried to contain a stolen vehicle at a gas pump at the Holiday Station, 1345 Marshall Ave., around 2:34 a.m. Friday, May 26. The suspect sideswiped a squad car while attempting to evade police.
Summit Hill
Burglary—A residential break-in was reported on the 300 block of Grand Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 19.
Theft—The catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Dale Street and Goodrich Avenue on the evening of May 23-24.
Summit-University
Theft—Items valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen from a unit at the Dale Place Apartments, 313 N. Dale St., on May 11-23.
—A vehicle was reported stolen on the 1000 block of Selby Avenue during the evening of May 25-26.
Miscellaneous—A 29-year-old woman was arrested for DWI after she was found drinking vodka in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with an 8-month-old baby in the back seat on the 300 block of North Milton Street around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
West End
Miscellaneous—A 53-year-old man was arrested for felony identity fraud and drug possession at United Hospital around 1:58 p.m. Thursday, May 25.
